Bring generic presentations to life using the Mike Business Traveler Cartoon for PowerPoint. The PowerPoint cartoons are vector diagram drawings that look neat and trendy on the presentation background. The template uses the graphics to break up the text and content and organizes them through PowerPoint clipart.
The main star of the PowerPoint scene is a vector Mike illustration. This refers to an office worker with carry on luggage usually associated with business trips. The slides also feature minimalist icons for common PowerPoint actions. The clipart and placeholders are created as PowerPoint objects. These can be edited to suit the presenter’s needs and preferences. The user can do this by changing the icons in the circular shapes, and revising the text in the text placeholders.
The PowerPoint slides can be used to indicate different types of business activities that involve traveling. An example is an investors’ roadshow. Also called a financial roadshow, this involves a series of meetings or conferences in different locations. It is a venue for top company executives to talk with current or potential investors. These corporate road trips are usually done when a company is first made accessible to external investments, such as in the case of IPOs, or initial public offerings. It also provides an opportunity for executives to update their investors of the current state of their companies and improve goodwill between themselves.
Another use for the PowerPoint template is to showcase a conference trip, or a series of conferences for top executives. These conferences can involve either new innovations in the company’s field, or help the executives obtain their requirements for continuing professional education. The presenter can show the benefits and information which can be gained from the conference, as well its details.
The presenter can also elaborate on the slide’s use in presentations of a sales trip. It can be emphasized that these trips are important in improving door-to-door marketing and advertising. It can also involve personal visits with prominent clients to secure a business deal, or to pitch a new product or service, hinging on their product and brand loyalty.

Frequently asked questions
Q: How should a presenter use the traveler cartoon without distracting from the message?
A: Use the Mike illustration as a visual anchor for the section, not as decoration on every content slide. Pair the cover slide with one clear travel message, then use the two-column layout to explain the business purpose. Keep callout text short so the character reinforces the idea of movement, meetings, and business trips.
Q: When is this cartoon template a better choice than a travel photo?
A: This template works best when the presenter needs a neutral, friendly symbol for business travel rather than a specific location or person. Sales teams, consultants, and investor relations groups can use the character for roadshows, conferences, or client visits without implying a real destination, company employee, or branded photography style.
Q: Why do the traveler metaphor and icon callouts improve communication?
A: The suitcase-carrying businessperson gives the audience an immediate metaphor for movement, meetings, and professional travel. The icon callout slides then shift attention from the character to practical actions such as resizing, color changes, and ungrouping. This sequencing makes the graphic feel purposeful instead of ornamental.
