This slide presents the new stage of the product life cycle model, the Reinvent Stage. This stage is becoming popular as its is a by-product of innovation strategies within product portfolios. Instead of letting the product down due to obsolescence, modern organizations constantly innovate through the product and evolve the product features or solutions to keep up with customers new or more demanding needs. Reinventing a product is less costly and provides a solid base of customers to start testing. The stage uses heavy Ideation and Prototyping, concluding in new product development, restarting the curve.
