Pakistan has the world’s sixth-largest population with 180 million people as of 2012. Every seven seconds, a new baby is born in Pakistan. It has the highest fertility rate of 3.07 as compared to its neighbor countries. However, its median age is 22 and the majority is under 30. Pakistan claims that more or less 7 million of their people live overseas. The majority are located in North America, Middle East and Europe. It is ranked as the 10th most active country to receive remittances abroad.
