Another way of livening up a presentation is promoting active participation from the audience. The best way to do this is by asking the audience about their thoughts on what is about to be discussed. This doesn’t just stir interest; it also allows the host to gauge the awareness of the audience towards the subject of a lecture. It allows the host to set the depth of discussion. For example, if everyone in the audience is already fully aware of the process or the procedure, the host can utilize the presentation time for citing useful examples and application instead of going over the whole procedure.
