2. Attracting New Customers: Acquiring new customers in existing markets. Strategies involve looking a way to get new markets to buy current offerings.
3. Innovation of Products and Services: Creating new products and services for existing or new customers. This strategy is the most common one applied.
4. Innovation of the value-delivery system: Developing new value-delivery approaches. Strategies involve creating new ways to deliver the same value proposition.
5. Geographical Expansion: Moving into new geographies with markets ready to accept the product/service offering. Strategies involve M&A in new places, subsidiaries and resellers.
6. Creating a new industry structure: This can involves M&A in already owned geographies that allow reduce costs or exploit economies of scale.
7. Stepping out into new business arenas: Compete in new business arena around vertical integration.
