Why Extract Speaker Notes?
If you've ever stood up to present and realized your speaker notes were trapped inside the PowerPoint file — useless because you can't look at the projector AND the notes at the same time — you know the problem. Speaker notes belong on a separate screen, or printed, or fed into a teleprompter. Anywhere but inside the deck.
This tool reads them straight out of the .pptx file and lets you export them in whichever format fits your workflow.
How It Works
A .pptx is technically a zip archive. Speaker notes live in ppt/notesSlides/notesSlideN.xml — one file per slide that has notes. The tool opens the zip in your browser using JSZip, finds every notes XML, parses out the text, and groups it by slide alongside the slide title.
No server upload, no third-party API. Everything is local to your device.

What's NOT Extracted
- Slide titles are pulled along with the notes for orientation, but only the notes themselves go into the export.
- Embedded images, charts, and tables within slide bodies are ignored — the extractor is focused on speaker-notes text.
- If a slide has no notes, it's still listed (with an empty body) so the slide numbering matches your deck.
